Having designed complex systems like rocket engines, turbomachinery, and large-scale hardware, our team brings world-class engineering to the challenge of making low-cost, 24/7 clean power.

Spencer Jackson founded Critical Energy in 2024 to accelerate the deployment of modular power plants and make clean, dispatchable energy more accessible worldwide. Before launching Critical, he served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at NosTerra Ventures, focusing on innovations in low-cost clean energy.

Previously, Spencer spent seven years at SpaceX, where he held engineering leadership roles across Falcon Heavy, Starship, and Raptor engine programs — managing complex hardware development from concept through flight.
