Meet Apex — our first family of modular power units
Apex is a containerized Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) power plant, built from factory-assembled modules to bring utility-scale power online faster and at lower cost than traditional plants.
Each unit delivers multi-megawatt output. Deploy one, or run several in parallel to match the heat source at geothermal and waste heat recovery sites. Our first demo system has already generated over 50 kW in testing.
95% factory assembled
Assembled and fully tested in our factory, so onsite work is limited to connecting the unit.
Our own turbine
A custom multi-stage axial turbine, designed and built in-house.
Competitive efficiency
Matches or beats established systems across a wide range of inlet temperatures.
Air-cooled, no water needed
Closed-loop air cooling lets Apex operate where water is scarce.
High power density
8–10 MW per acre, so more power fits on less land.
Black start and islanding
Optional packages let Apex start without grid power and keep critical loads running through outages.

Our demo power plant: over 50 kW generated in testing
Our first demo system has generated over 50 kW of electricity in testing. To get there, we designed and built a fully custom turbine and integrated it into a closed-loop ORC system, validating our design and de-risking each stage of system integration.
The demo unit demonstrates the performance of our core technology — from heat exchange and working fluid cycles to turbine-driven power generation — and serves as the foundation for scaling to multi-megawatt modular plants like Apex.
